IntSpo is a Norwegian technology company headquartered in Asker that digitizes physical assets with IoT (the Internet of Things). The company has previously been mentioned in the Innovation Speech of Innovation Norway and is the only Norwegian IoT company to have been mentioned by U-blox, one of the world leaders in innovative IoT technology. IntSpo AS is led by Hans Erik Karsten.

Will strengthen the digitalisation of Norwegian municipalities with IoT sensor technology

IntSpo aims for our IoT technology to help municipalities work more efficiently and reduce costs on the way to becoming an even smarter city, says Hans Erik Karsten, general manager of IntSpo.

Until now, IntSpo has provided real-time tracking of physical assets so that employees in the municipality do not have to spend time waiting or looking for objects. With the new innovation support, IntSpo will develop sensor functionality that will help employees in the municipalities to follow or detect changes in physical assets.

Smart cities with IoT sensor technology

One of many examples of the use of IoT sensor technology is found in Helsinki, Finland, where rubbish bins equipped with IoT help the municipality to plan emptying more efficiently, which reduces the use of diesel and CO2 from rubbish trucks, which in turn saves the environment.

"There are endless possibilities for efficient utilization of IoT tracking and sensor technology, and we therefore encourage you to contact us at IntSpo AS for a non-binding mapping of the possibilities in each company or municipality."

Contact IntSpo by 31 August 2020 to receive offers for real-time tracking and a non-binding mapping of the opportunities IoT can provide your business or municipality. Read more about the offer.
